Duplex Stainless TGP
2101 Duplex is a lean-alloyed duplex stainless grade that has approximately equal parts Austenite and Ferrite. This grade of stainless combines high chromium, nitrogen, molybdenum, and low nickel to provide improved resistance to corrosion and high mechanical strength. 2101 Duplex offers good resistance to Stress Corrosion Cracking (SCC) – a form of corrosion found in hostile environments. By its nature, 2101 Duplex can display properties of both Austenite and Ferrite stainless steels. Suitable for use in a wide range of general-purpose applications.
This material is provided in a Turned, Ground and Polished (TGP) finish and Rough Turned, Oversized (RTOS) finish. English and Metric sizes are both available in TGP.
